As stated sight of the actual recordswould potentially help confirm details of the property but also might shed some light of the relationship, if any, between "Mr Ebenezer Hendry, and the heirs of Mrs Mary Hendry, or McEwan" as named in the advert in the Alloa Advertiser of 10 May 1856 for the sale of a property in Broad Street, Alloa.
