CLYDESDALE CRICKET CLUB - The opening match of this Club was played on Saturday last on Kinning Park, the match being those residing on the north and those on the south side of the river. As usual great interest is taken in the result of this match, the sides being generally well balanced. The fielding of both elevens was much admired, as also the batting of Messrs. H. Tennant and McPherson, and from the display of cricket shown during the day this club no doubt will maintain its well-earned fame throughout the season now opened. Score :
