There is a death certificate for an Andrew Cuthbert, a Labourer, who died aged 64 in the Western Infirmary on 22 March 1921. His usual residence was given as 28 McAlpine Street, and unfortunately no parents names were included on the certificate. The informant was Peter H. McLellan of the Western Infirmary, and it would seen that the death was the result of being knocked down by a Tramcar. This could be "our" Andrew but so far no obvious other records have been found to prove or disprove this.
